I don't really know where to start so I'll just do it chronologically. 2017 was ok as far as I remember and so was the beginning of 2018, or, so I thought. I have been in a long term relationship half of 2016, all of 2017 and most of 2018 and I thought everything was good. It's only once the relationship was over that I really saw how bad things were. SO disclaimer, the person I was with is not a bad person, he is a good guy and a wonderful friend, we just were not meant for each other romantically and drove each other mad. We didn't agree on basically anything...and didn't see each other's point of view no matter how hard we tried resulting in both of us changing ourselves trying to make the other person happy which in turn drove us to suppress who we really are. This caused us to fight constantly, to kind of lose ourselves and just general unhappiness...

After my break up, in which I did the breaking up, everyone who I was friends with basically for some reason turned against me? I don't really know how to explain it but we broke up and suddenly it felt like my whole life was swept from under me in one swoop. Suddenly I was almost completely alone, I didn't know who I was, was emotionally traumatised and genuinely confused. Around the same time as my breakup, my car was also stolen and I had nearly no support system at all, and my family was living on a different continent.

I decided to restart completely because I needed to learn who I was, and how to be single etc. I also had quite a bit of emotional damage for various reasons so I have to work through that. It's really difficult to start over. I know all of 2 people and have to work my way up from NOTHING.

I am also kind of trying to work through being bi. I have been bi for years but have never publicly expressed it and now just don't know what to do because I've started to feel my "lesbian side" a lot more and that's a mess.......

I don't really have the words to express how I really feel, but it's been a tough last quarter of 2018 and every day my eyes open more and more as to how much damage has been done and how I feel and everything...It's just been....something.
